Mothers’ Union is a global Christian movement working since 1876 with people of all faiths and none to develop communities, strengthen families and advocate for change.

Around the world our 4 million  members are active in 84 countries and work tirelessly to serve their communities whilst offering Christian care for families, regardless of faith or background.

Ending violence, ending poverty, ending injustice. We are a truly worldwide Christian movement.

The St. Illtud's branch of the MU is part of the Llandaff Diocesan Mothers' Union.

February and March Mid day Prayers

Every day at Mid Day MU members, wherever they are,  pray. Our prayers change thoughout the year focussing on topics we are particularly concerned about at the time.
The MU Facebook page has live prayers at Noon (London time) every day.
For those of you who would like to pray at home, our January Mid Day Prayers can be found here February and March

March Meeting

Our March Meeting will be on Tuesday March 5th at 2.00pm in St Illtud's when Philip Morris will speak to us about the Hymns of Bishop Timothy Rees.

Tiny Treasure Seekers

MU Members are helping to support St Illtud's work with children. If you are able to help with our commitment to support Tiny Treasure Seekers by serving refreshments and chatting to Mums and Carers, please ask about how you can become involved.

Food Bank

We are supporting our local Food Bank especially with toiletries (for children, men and women) and sanitary products. These can be brought to church at any time and placed in the Food Bank boxes. Obviously all our gifts to the foodbank are very welcome but these particular items are much needed.

Smarties Challenge

Our Smarties Challenge will begin this year on Sunday March 3rd which is a Treasure Seekers Sunday. We will have a supply of twice as many Smarties Tubes as in Previous years. This will raise funds for MU Projects everywhere, especially the Away From It All Caravan at Porthcawl.

Easter Stall

Our Easter Stall will be on the Church path on Holy Saturday March 30th. Please can you bring along your crafts, small gifts etc. There will be many other activities going on in and around the church that day too.

Service of Thanksgiving in Llandaff Cathedral Sept 7th
